The video, which caused widespread anger and condemnation, was reportedly recorded while the dog was being groomed. After the video spread through social networking services (SNS), the police arrested and detained two men aged 19 and 20 who assaulted the dog. The dog, injured from the assault, was transferred to a dog shelter.

Currently, on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), scenes of animal lovers and citizens beating the employees while they were being arrested and transported by the police are also being shared.

The incident has ignited anger among animal lovers and the public throughout India. They gathered outside the hospital to express their outrage and shouted slogans demanding justice for the abused dog.

Animal welfare organizations have called for an official investigation into the incident and demanded stricter regulations to prevent such abuse in the future. Famous personalities from the Indian film industry, 'Bollywood,' also urged severe punishment for the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the Betik Pet Clinic where the incident occurred has been shut down. However, animal protection groups are demanding further action, stating that "criminal lawsuits should be filed against the hospital as well, holding it accountable for allowing abuse to occur within its premises."
