Jeju Fire Station (Chief Yang Young-seok) announced on the 15th that it awarded a commendation to the BEST Kind Medical Workers selected to promote a culture of mutual cooperation and respect between 119 paramedics and emergency medical institutions.
The BEST Kind Medical Workers are selected from medical staff working in emergency rooms of emergency medical institutions in the province, based on multiple recommendations from 119 paramedics affiliated with Jeju Fire Station. This initiative is part of efforts to express gratitude and encouragement to the medical staff and to strengthen the cooperative system for protecting the lives of residents.
Nurse Cho Min-gyo from Halla Hospital and Nurse Cho Sae-young from Jeju National University Hospital, who received commendations in the first half of this year, were selected as the medical workers who contributed the most to spreading a culture of kindness through a survey of 102 paramedics.
Yang Young-seok, Chief of Jeju Fire Station, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the medical staff who always work hard for the health of our residents,” adding, “Through the spread of a culture of mutual understanding and respect, we will strengthen the collaboration system between fire services and hospitals and make greater efforts to protect the lives of our residents.”
