During the evening hours, patrols were conducted around schools and busy commercial districts within the county to promote improvement and prevention activities aimed at protecting youth who are easily exposed to harmful environments.

In particular, the key inspection and crackdown items for youth harmful establishments included △ violations of youth entry and employment prohibition △ failure to display signs prohibiting youth entry and employment △ protection activities for youth exposed to risks such as drinking, smoking, violence, and running away △ and whether youth harmful environment signs were posted at establishments selling alcohol and tobacco.

A county official stated, “We will continue to promote crackdown and prevention campaigns on harmful establishments to create a safe environment where both the youth, who are the future of Jindo, and their parents can feel secure.”

Meanwhile, Jindo-gun plans to actively support protection services by linking youth safety networks such as the Out-of-School Youth Support Center for adolescents exposed to risks like drinking, smoking, violence, and running away.
