Implementation of Digital Platform Government through Establishment of Data-Based Administration
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 15th that it has received the 'Excellent' rating for two consecutive years in the '2023 Data-Driven Administration Inspection' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Data-Driven Administration Inspection is conducted annually on a total of 464 institutions, including central government ministries, local governments, and public institutions. In this inspection, the Small and Medium Business Corporation received high evaluation scores in two of the four areas: data-driven administration management system and data utilization capabilities and culture, among the areas of ▲data-driven administration management system ▲data sharing ▲data analysis and utilization ▲data utilization capabilities and culture.
In particular, the Small and Medium Business Corporation provides 'BizPassFinder' to predict growth paths of small and medium ventures and recommend support projects. BizPassFinder is a service that provides real-time analytical information to help small and medium ventures establish business plans or receive customized policy support by utilizing data collected through the Corporation's support projects such as policy funds, export marketing, and workforce training, as well as external institution data.
Kang Seok-jin, Director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “The data-driven administration of the Corporation focuses on streamlining support projects for small and medium ventures and providing demand-tailored services,” adding, “We will internalize data-driven administration throughout our operations, including establishing a dedicated financial data department this year.”
