According to the US IT product review comparison platform 'PerfectRec' on the 14th, consumer satisfaction for the Galaxy S24 series (standard, Plus, Ultra) was 91%, 84%, and 88%, respectively. This exceeds the consumer satisfaction ratings recorded by the iPhone 15 series (standard, Plus, Pro, Pro Max) in October last year, which were 77.2%, 80%, 71.4%, and 77.2%.
The satisfaction ratings for the iPhone 15 remained at 78.1%, 73.5%, 66.1%, and 72.5% in a survey conducted last month. PerfectRec analyzed that while concerns about overheating at the initial launch of the iPhone 15 have diminished, the relatively low ratings were due to minimal improvements compared to its predecessor and disappointment with battery life.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 series recorded the highest consumer satisfaction among all Galaxy S series to date. Compared to the consumer satisfaction ratings of the Galaxy S23 series (standard, Plus, Ultra) from May last year, the ratings increased by 16 percentage points, 6 percentage points, and 2 percentage points, respectively.
Consumer satisfaction is calculated by collecting reviews from telecommunications carriers, electronics retail channels, and retailer websites posted on Google, then determining the proportion of reviews that received a perfect 5-star rating as the consumer satisfaction index.
However, PerfectRec also noted that since the Galaxy S24 series is still in its early release stage, with only about 2,750 reviews so far, future trends need to be monitored. They stated that approximately 140,000 reviews for the iPhone have been analyzed since September 2019, and about 177,000 reviews for the Galaxy since 2020.
