University students must submit required documents such as a certificate of enrollment and transcript to the town or township office of their residence, while elementary and middle school students are recommended by the superintendent of education, and high school students are recommended by their school principal.

The county plans to provide scholarships to 29 university students (2 million KRW each), 45 high school students (1 million KRW each), 30 middle school students (300,000 KRW each), and 20 elementary school students (200,000 KRW each) after the military talent development fund review committee meeting at the end of March.

County Governor Kim Soon-ho said, “The talent development scholarships supported by the county will alleviate the economic burden on parents and provide students with the opportunity to focus on their studies,” adding, “We will spare no support for students who will become key talents leading Gurye-gun.”
