Suseong Cultural Foundation is publicly recruiting the head of the Culture and Tourism Business Division to ensure the smooth progress of current projects.
The Culture and Tourism Business Division was newly established in August last year to enhance expertise in the fields of culture and tourism and to provide differentiated services to residents.
The head of the Culture and Tourism Business Division oversees the operations of three centers: the "Tourism Promotion Center," which manages medical and wellness tourism, the Korean Traditional Culture Experience Center, and tourist information centers; the "Cultural City Center," which promotes the "Suseong-gu Cultural City Preliminary Project" approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism last year; and the "Urban Regeneration Support Center," which manages the Jeong Hoseung Literature Museum, Hamjang Life Culture Center, and Community Center.
The application period is from the 20th to the 26th of this month. After the first document screening, the second written test (personality test), and the final interview, the successful candidate will be selected and hired by the end of March.
Qualification criteria include those who are civil servants at grade 5 or higher, or civil servants at grade 6 with more than 5 years of experience; holders of doctoral or master's degrees in related fields with more than 5 years of relevant work experience; those with more than 8 years of relevant work experience in related institutions or organizations; and executives in public or private sectors with more than 12 years of relevant work experience. There are no restrictions on the applicant's place of residence.
More detailed information about the recruitment can be found on the websites of the Suseong Cultural Foundation and Suseong-gu Office.
A representative of the Suseong Cultural Foundation stated, "The Culture and Tourism Business Division serves as a control tower leading the cultural and tourism projects of Suseong-gu, a city with unique differentiation. We ask for the interest and applications of many people for the position of head of the Culture and Tourism Business Division, which will play a pivotal role in key projects such as promoting the preliminary project in preparation for the final selection as a cultural city this year."
