Relay Visits for Two Weeks Starting from the 29th of Last Month
Listening to Challenges and Inspecting Production Facilities
Jung Manki, Vice Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), visited trade sites in Gangwon, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and northern Gyeonggi from the 29th of last month to the 7th of this month to listen to difficulties and inspect corporate production facilities and technological competitiveness.

According to KITA on the 12th, Vice Chairman Jung began his schedule on the 29th of last month by visiting Advbio, a company producing veterinary pharmaceuticals located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. On the 2nd, he visited Kanevi Mobility in Incheon, which developed the propulsion power system for the ‘Central Canal,’ Korea’s first purely electric propulsion ship. On the 5th, he visited Modern C&B in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and on the 7th, he visited Wirobotics, a company producing wearable walking-assist robots in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
Vice Chairman Jung said, "Since October last year, exports have increased for four consecutive months, showing signs of bottoming out and rebounding," adding, "KITA will do its best to resolve regulations in the trade field to maintain the upward momentum of exports and become a partner to the industry."
He continued, "Starting next month, KITA plans to operate a 'Regulation and Difficulty Working Group' composed of export company practitioners to listen to various voices from the field," and added, "We plan to increase accessibility to suggestions on regulations and difficulties by conducting quarterly online surveys and ongoing offline interviews."
He also emphasized, "KITA will fulfill its fundamental role by supporting our companies to respond swiftly to sudden adverse events like the Red Sea incident, as well as resolving trade field regulations and difficulties and providing customized support for small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies."
