Hamas: "Over 50 Dead in Israel's Rafah Attack"

On the 12th (local time), the Israeli military struck the southernmost city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip, according to AFP and other news agencies.


According to AFP and other foreign media, citing the Palestinian Red Crescent, the Israeli military attacked Rafah at dawn on the same day.


The Red Crescent stated that Israel is "intensely" attacking Rafah.


AFP reported that its local journalists informed that there was concentrated shelling on the outskirts of Rafah.


In this regard, the Israeli military said it carried out a "series of attacks" in the southern Gaza Strip on the same day and that the operation is now "complete," but did not provide detailed information.


The Hamas-run Gaza Strip Ministry of Health reported that at least seven people were killed in the Rafah airstrike, and later the death toll rose to over 50.
