Bernard Arnault, chairman of the French luxury group Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy (LVMH), has surpassed Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, to become the world's richest person.
On the 26th, the American business magazine Forbes reported that Arnault and his family's net worth reached $207.8 billion (278.0364 trillion KRW), surpassing Musk's $204.5 billion (273.621 trillion KRW).
Meanwhile, rumors of a romantic relationship between Bernard Arnault's fourth son, Fr?d?ric Arnault, and Lisa, a member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, have resurfaced. This time, reports emerged that Fr?d?ric Arnault vacationed with his family on the beach in Miami, Florida, sparking speculation about a possible marriage.
Fr?d?ric Arnault became head of LVMH's watch division last month. He is the fourth of Arnault's five children and served as CEO of the TAG Heuer brand, where he started working in 2017, becoming CEO at the age of 25 in 2020. He is considered a strong candidate to succeed at LVMH. However, even after his promotion to CEO of the watch division, he still reports to St?phane Bianchi, CEO of the watch and jewelry division.
The eldest daughter of the Arnault family, Delphine (48), has been serving as chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, the group's second-largest fashion brand, since last year. The eldest son, Antoine (46), stepped down from managing the menswear brand Berluti earlier this year and is now negotiating sponsorship contracts for the 2024 Paris Olympics. He is also CEO of Christian Dior SE, the holding company of LVMH. The third child, Alexandre, works as vice president in charge of products and communications at the jewelry brand Tiffany, while the youngest son, Jean (25), is active as head of marketing and development in the watch division.
