On the 10th, which is both Lunar New Year's Day and Saturday, there will be occasional clouds nationwide, and fine dust levels will be poor in the Seoul metropolitan area.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, light snow less than 0.1 cm or raindrops less than 0.1 mm are expected in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province and the central to northern Yeongseo region of Gangwon Province in the morning.

In the afternoon, less than 1 mm of rain is expected along the southwestern coast of Jeollanam-do, and raindrops of about 0.1 mm may fall in other parts of the Jeolla region.

From daytime to evening, occasional rain (or rain and snow in mountainous areas) is expected on Jeju Island.

The daytime high temperature is forecast to be between 5 and 11 degrees Celsius. Temperatures will be similar to or slightly higher than the average for this time of year (average lows -10 to 0 degrees, highs 3 to 9 degrees), but morning temperatures in the central region and southern inland areas will be around minus 5 degrees Celsius. Especially in the Gangwon mountain area, where a cold wave advisory is in effect, temperatures are expected to drop below minus 10 degrees Celsius, making it very cold.

Fine dust concentrations will be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Honam region, Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeju areas, while other regions will experience 'moderate' levels.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.

Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
