The designation of an LG Electronics Outstanding Collaborative Laboratory is a system implemented by LG Electronics to secure excellent talents and the latest technologies through continuous exchange and collaboration with outstanding university laboratories.
Once designated as an outstanding laboratory, benefits such as joint industry-academia research, technology exchange, priority assignment for participation in LG Electronics projects, and internship opportunities are provided.
Professor Kim said, “It is very meaningful to be able to engage in industry-academia cooperation activities with LG Electronics, a leading company in Changwon and a representative global company of South Korea,” adding, “We will play a role in nurturing future talents and technologies through mutual cooperation as well as solving current technical issues.”
He continued, “Through this technology exchange meeting and the designation as an outstanding collaborative laboratory, we plan to sign an industry-academia project contract in February,” and added, “Starting with this, we will continue various industry-academia activities such as specialized technical seminars, solving current issues, researching the latest technology trends, student invitation events, as well as nurturing talents tailored to industry demands and linking graduate student recruitment.”
