Dongmyeong University Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction Startup Club Wins Grand Prize at Startup Sharing University Competition

Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction (Department Head Professor Kwak Jin-sook) startup club won the prestigious grand prize at the Busan LINC3.0 Startup Sharing University Competition hosted by Pukyong National University on February 6.

The grand prize-winning startup club Aromong is developing customized aroma technology for tailored care of companion dog skin and coat, producing products that help with various diseases such as skin and coat conditions in pets, and is planning programs for abandoned dogs and companion dogs of low-income families.


They are striving to expand startup club activities to develop various products and apply them to volunteer work.


Dongmyung University established the nation's first dedicated College of Companion Animals, operating the Department of Companion Animal Health, Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction, and the Department of Companion Animal Industry (with majors in Pet Food and Companion Animal Industry Design).
