CGV Academy Special Screening from the 14th
16 Films Including Domestic Unreleased Titles
CGV announced on the 7th that it will hold a special screening event around the time of the American Academy Awards. From the 14th of this month until the 12th of next month, sixteen nominated films will be screened. These include "Oppenheimer," which received the most nominations (13 categories), as well as "Barbie," "Anatomy of a Fall," "Maestro Bernstein," "Flower Killing Moon," "Teachers Lounge," "Elemental," "How Do You Live?," "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," and "Eternal Memory." Additionally, unreleased domestic films such as "Poor Things," "Robot Dream," "May December," "Barton Academy," "Perfect Days," and "Fast Lives" will also be shown on screen.
The screenings will take place at fifteen arthouse theaters nationwide, including Gangbyeon, Gwangju Sangmu, Daegu Academy, Daejeon, Myeongdong Station Cine Library, Seomyeon, Sinchon Artreon, Apgujeong, Yeouido, Ori, Yongsan I'Park Mall, Incheon, Cheonan, Cheongju Yullyang, and Chuncheon. Yeogwangjin, CGV Content Programming Team Leader, said, "We hope people take the time to watch the nominated films and pick their own winners in advance." This year's Academy Awards ceremony will be held on the 10th of next month (local time) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles (LA), USA.
