Chong Kun Dang Launches 'Braining', a Memory Decline Improvement Agent

Braining is an over-the-counter drug combining 60 mg of Ginkgo biloba dry extract and 100 mg of 40% ethanol ginseng dry extract. The 40% ethanol ginseng dry extract refers to ginseng extract obtained by extracting ginseng with 40% ethanol concentration followed by filtration and concentration.

The company explained that Braining has proven its efficacy in improving concentration, attention decline, and memory loss through clinical trials. According to clinical results from the Swiss manufacturer SFI, cognitive function improvement began from the first day of drug intake, and after 30 days of intake, cognitive function was confirmed to have significantly improved. After 12 weeks of intake, an average memory improvement effect of 7.5% was observed, and the effect was maintained during a 2-week withdrawal period. It was also added that Braining was effective in improving symptoms of peripheral arterial circulation disorders such as dizziness.

Braining should be taken twice a day, one capsule each time, in the morning and at lunch.

A Jongkundang official said, “As we enter a super-aged society, interest in geriatric diseases involving decline in physical ability and cognitive function will continue to increase,” adding, “Braining, which has proven excellent efficacy with differentiated ingredients and clinical data, is expected to help busy modern people manage their brain health.”
