Discounted Fees and Traditional Game Experience Zone for Uljin Residents and Accompanying Customers
At Wangpicheon Park in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, various events such as special discounts and traditional folk game experiences will be held from the 9th to the 12th during the Lunar New Year holiday.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, customers accompanied by Uljin residents will receive a resident discount on the Wangpicheon Cable Car fare (a 4,000 KRW discount), and a 50% discount on admission fees at the Uljin Aquarium.
Additionally, the Uljin Aquarium will host various programs including a seal ecology briefing, an otter feeding performance, and a special gift draw inside the Turtle Momma area.
Furthermore, folk game experience zones featuring Yutnori, Tuho, Neolttwigi, and Gulleongsoe will be set up and operated at the cable car and aquarium plazas.
County Governor Son Byung-bok said, “To celebrate the Lunar New Year, we will offer various entertainment and events to visitors returning to their hometowns and users of the cable car and aquarium, gifting them precious time during the holiday. We will continue to develop various discount systems and programs so that Wangpicheon Park in Uljin can be a joyful resting place for both residents and tourists.”
From the 22nd to the 25th, a Wangpicheon Cable Car promotion booth will be installed at the ‘Uljin Snow Crab and Red Snow Crab Festival’ site, where on-site roulette games will provide free tickets and 50% discount coupons to festival visitors as part of cable car promotion and customer recruitment events.
