Kiwoom Investment Asset Management Wins Partnership Prize for Excellence in Management from Industrial Accident Insurance Fund

Kiwoom Asset Management announced on the 5th that Hyungsang Ahn, Head of Bond Management, and Sejung Park, Head of Equity Management, were each selected as outstanding domestic bond and domestic equity partner portfolio managers and received commendations on the 29th of last month.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor and Samsung Asset Management's Industrial Accident Insurance Fund Business Division introduced the 'Partnership Prize' system for the first time this year to promote a long-term investment culture for the fund. This is part of efforts to continuously strengthen and develop the partnership with entrusted asset managers managing the Industrial Accident Insurance Fund's mid- to long-term funds. Samsung Asset Management, the weekly asset manager, comprehensively evaluates entrusted asset managers' mid- to long-term performance contributions, management capabilities, and compliance adherence to select and award outstanding portfolio managers by asset type.

The awarded portfolio managers have been entrusted with managing the Industrial Accident Insurance Fund's mid- to long-term funds since 2016. They were recognized for their contribution to enhancing the fund's performance through solid results and strict compliance with regulations.

Kiwoom Asset Management explained that adherence to a consistent investment process based on an investment philosophy emphasizing scientific investment, long-term investment, and creative approaches has led to stable long-term performance of the Industrial Accident Insurance Fund entrusted funds.
