20 Million Won Donation Delivered
DGB Daegu Bank delivered a donation to support the bereaved families of the late Fire Sergeant Kim Su-gwang and Fire Corporal Park Su-hoon of the Gyeongbuk Mungyeong Fire Station 119 Rescue and Emergency Center, who died in the line of duty while extinguishing a fire at a meat processing factory in Mungyeong, Gyeongbuk.
Daegu Bank donated 25 million KRW to the Warmth Sharing Daegu Promotion Headquarters for disaster relief projects. Of this amount, 20 million KRW will be used to support the firefighters who died in the Mungyeong factory fire and their families. The remainder will be used as support funds for firefighters and volunteer fire brigades in the Daegu area.
On the 2nd, executives personally visited the funeral hall in Mungyeong to express their condolences and sympathy.
Bank President Hwang Byung-woo stated, “We express our condolences to those who dedicated and sacrificed themselves for the Republic of Korea and its people, offer our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families, and respectfully pray for the deceased’s peaceful rest as we deliver this donation. We will remember and honor the noble sacrifice and spirit of the deceased, who fulfilled the mission of a firefighter and showed indomitable courage.”
