Yuanta Securities forecasted on the 2nd that Tirobotics will benefit as the application area of Automated Mobile Robots (AMR) in logistics expands.
Kwon Myung-jun, a researcher at Yuanta Securities, explained, "AMRs are robots that recognize their surroundings autonomously through radar, lidar, and cameras, and move by exchanging information with each other," adding, "Considering the price and order amount of AMRs, Tirobotics' contracts last year are estimated to be on the scale of several hundred units per contract."
He continued, "When operating stably, AMRs can be seen as a good alternative in terms of labor costs and reshoring issues," and added, "AMRs have great growth potential as they can expand beyond secondary batteries to various industrial sectors."
Researcher Kwon analyzed, "Not only in Korea but also in many countries, there is high interest in healthcare robots due to aging populations," and noted, "They are jointly developing technology with Swiss robotics company Myoswiss to build healthcare robot products." Furthermore, he emphasized, "They possess wearable robots for hip joint assistance and other wearable robot products," and stated, "They plan to continuously expand their product lineup."
