CUBox, an AI video recognition specialist company, announced on the 2nd that it has signed an additional supply contract for its AI video security solution 'SEEU·ON' with Samsung SDS.
As remote work outside the office has become common recently, the demand for video security is increasing. However, since the level of security and convenience are conflicting factors, companies have hesitated to adopt existing security solutions. To address these corporate needs, CUBox launched the AI video recognition-based information security solution SEEU·ON last year.
SEEU·ON is an AI video recognition solution with features such as facial authentication and abnormal behavior detection. Last year, CUBox signed a first supply contract with Samsung SDS in the form of SaaS (Software as a Service). In response to corporate needs for convenient operation even in multitasking environments, CUBox signed a second supply contract with Samsung SDS for an additional security agent based on AI webcams.
The newly introduced agent adds a liveness detection feature to the existing video authentication functions. Liveness detection is a technology that detects facial forgery using others' photos, 3D masks, edited videos, and so on. CUBox has been focusing on developing liveness detection technology as it officially entered the financial sector. CUBox became the first in Korea to obtain iBeta's ISO/IEC 30107-3 certification. It commercialized biometric signal-based liveness detection technology and introduced it into numerous financial sector authentication solutions.
A CUBox representative said, "As work environments diversify, the importance of video security is emerging, and the demand for AI security solutions that do not compromise work convenience is increasing among companies," adding, "Starting with this additional delivery to Samsung SDS, we will expand supply mainly to domestic-based global companies that require security solutions for remote work."
