Jeonnam Province Budget General Team Leader Special Lecture on Securing National Funds
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that it held an "Employee Capacity Building Training for Securing National Funds in 2025" for all employees by inviting Lee Seon-ho, Budget General Team Leader of the Jeollanam-do Budget Office, at the large conference room on the 4th floor of the county office.
On this day, about 200 employees including County Governor Kim Cheol-woo attended the site, and employees who were unable to attend watched the video through each department's TV.
This training was conducted as a practical lecture to understand the flow of government budget formulation and learn the secrets (know-how) of securing national funds ahead of the 2025 national fund application and central government budget formulation.
Lee Seon-ho, the invited lecturer, is a national fund budget expert who worked for more than 10 years at the Budget Office of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance and served as the National Treasury Budget Team Leader and Budget General Team Leader of Jeollanam-do.
On this day, Lee introduced specific cases learned through on-site practice in the order of △national fund budget formulation process, △review items when requesting national fund projects, △national fund securing strategies, △suggestions for securing national funds, and △case studies.
In addition, he shared strategic response methods such as △national fund securing response plans targeting central government ministries, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the National Assembly, △pre-administrative procedure systems, △how to prepare project explanation materials, and △development of logic for project necessity and feasibility, and held a Q&A session with the attendees.
Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong-gun, said, "This training will be an opportunity to promote proactive national fund securing activities," and added, "I hope you will actively work to secure national funds with the strategies gained through the lecture."
Meanwhile, despite difficult financial conditions due to the government's fiscal tightening policy, Boseong-gun achieved the highest budget growth rate in Jeollanam-do in 2024 and held a report meeting for new national fund securing projects for 2025 on the 25th.
In 2025, Boseong-gun plans to devote all efforts to securing the budget by frequently visiting the relevant central government ministries and the National Assembly, putting its life on securing national funds.
