Some Supporters Sent Donations as 'Congratulatory Money'
When Cho Min, daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, announced her engagement, supporters sent donations to her bank account. In response, Cho Min intervened. On the 1st, she stated through her YouTube community, "It seems my bank account was briefly disclosed after the engagement announcement. I neither disclosed it nor requested its disclosure."
She emphasized, "To avoid unnecessary controversies, I appreciate the support but please do not deposit any donations." Earlier, when Cho Min revealed her wedding plans on her YouTube channel and Instagram on the 30th of last month, some supporters appeared to have sent donations as congratulatory gifts. She introduced her boyfriend as "someone the same age, not involved in politics, and not a public figure. He is an ordinary friend who works hard. I want to protect his privacy so that he does not suffer any harm."
She continued, "We have been dating for about eight months, and the wedding is planned for the second half of this year. There is so much to prepare. I plan to show the wedding preparation process on YouTube. I will try to show the preparations beautifully, so please give us lots of love."
Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk also congratulated his daughter on her engagement. He said, "Her partner is a young man who stood firmly by my daughter during difficult times," and added, "They got engaged with the blessings of both families. I wish happiness fills the path of these two youths."
