BMW Technical Apprentice Course Launch and Internship
BMW Group Korea is partnering with Seoil University to nurture automotive industry professionals.
On the 1st, BMW Group Korea announced that it had signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the cultivation of automotive industry professionals' with Seoil University the day before.
Accordingly, they will open a 'BMW Technical Apprentice' course and conduct a recruitment-linked program. This program targets second-year students in the Smart Automotive Engineering Department at Seoil University, operating a field job-centered curriculum through BMW-specialized course design and consulting.
Classes will be held in the first semester, and in the second semester, students will have the opportunity to work at official BMW dealerships through internships. Participating students can choose their desired job roles such as general maintenance, sheet metal, painting, service advisor, warranty, as well as their preferred workplace among 80 service centers nationwide.
Jung Sang-cheon, Head of BMW Group Korea, stated, "We will strive harder to cultivate talent for the sustainable future automotive industry," adding, "Through cooperation with Seoil University, we will actively contribute to expanding young people's professional technical careers."
