To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the county is raising the purchase limit of the Gochang Love Gift Certificate from the existing 700,000 won to 1 million won.
In addition, the card and mobile types will be sold at a 15% discount to restore consumer sentiment weakened by high inflation and to promote the vitality of the local commercial district.
However, the paper-type gift certificates will maintain the existing 10% discount sale according to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety guidelines, and since the holding limit of the Gochang Love Gift Certificate is 1.5 million won, if you want to charge 1 million won at once, the existing balance must be 500,000 won or less.
The issuance amount of the Gochang Love Gift Certificate has been increasing every year, and in January alone, 4.9 billion won worth was sold with a redemption rate of 113%, establishing itself as the center of residents' consumption life and leading the revitalization of the local commercial district.
Shim Deok-seop, the governor of Gochang-gun, said, "Through the increase in discount rates and purchase limits for the Lunar New Year, we hope to reduce the consumption burden on residents and promote consumption within the region so that the Gochang economy can be rapidly revitalized."
