Sancheong-gun, 2024 Population and Youth Policy Idea Contest

All Areas Including Sancheong Hyung Vitality Enhancement Policy

Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is conducting the '2024 Sancheong-type Population and Youth Policy Idea Contest.' This contest is being promoted to respond to the crisis of population decline and local extinction.

The contest fields include all projects related to policies suitable for increasing the population and youth vitality in Sancheong-gun and promoting development. Anyone, including all residents and those who have moved away (alumni associations), can participate.

Applications can be submitted by visiting in person, mail, the Sancheong-gun website, the National Idea Box, email, or the official Sancheong-gun KakaoTalk channel by the 12th of this month.

Submitted proposals will first be reviewed and discussed by the Population Policy Task Force, and outstanding proposals scoring 70 points or higher will undergo a second evaluation based on judging criteria to determine their grade.

According to the evaluation results, awards including the County Governor’s Commendation, a grand prize of 1,000,000 KRW, excellence awards of 500,000 KRW, encouragement awards of 300,000 KRW, and effort awards of 100,000 KRW will be given. The results will be posted on the website between February and March, and winners will be individually notified by phone.

An official from the county stated, “We expect fresh and diverse ideas regarding population and youth policies,” and added, “We hope that through this contest, essential customized policies will be discovered, leading to a vibrant Sancheong.”
