Lee Jae-myung Plans to Visit Former President Moon Jae-in on the 4th of Next Month

Failed to Proceed Early This Year Due to Stabbing Attack

Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, is resuming plans to visit former President Moon Jae-in, a visit that was canceled earlier this month due to a stabbing incident.

According to party officials on the 31st, Lee is coordinating a visit to Pyeongsan Village in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, with Moon's side for the 4th of next month. Previously, Lee had intended to visit former President Moon on January 2nd as a New Year's greeting, but the visit was canceled after he was attacked with a weapon by a man in his 60s disguised as a supporter at the site planned for the new airport construction in Gadukdo, Busan, just before the visit.

'People and Future' is a talk concert featuring Lee and newly recruited talents for the general election, which will start in Seoul on the 1st of next month and will be held 10 times nationwide.
