Removing the Negative Impact of 'Research and Development Budget Cuts'
Global Topnet Co., Ltd. has been finally selected as a target company for the New Product Development Project implemented by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Overcoming the adversity of R&D budget cuts, the company achieved a clear success by securing 500 million KRW in government research funds for technology development.
The New Product Development Project is promoted to support purchase-linked R&D with actual purchase demand from clients, aiming to secure competitiveness in the value chain and establish a foundation for stable profit generation.
Among the strategic fields of this project, Global Topnet will invest 500 million KRW in developing new technologies in the system and equipment sector related to next-generation mobile communication specialized networks.
Global Topnet Co., Ltd., which leads this project, is headquartered in Busan and is an IT company that has registered five patents related to server intellectual property rights. It has already secured overseas demand channels as a global company.
The company has a history of receiving the highest grade twice in the first and second halves of last year’s Public Procurement Service contract performance evaluation. It was also recognized as an excellent human resource development institution by the Minister of Education in September 2022, certified as an outstanding company for job invention compensation by the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office in June 2022, awarded a commendation from the Busan Economic Promotion Agency for regional development and talent cultivation in December 2022, and received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor for administrative support in vocational competency development in December 2022. Through these active corporate activities, it is gaining attention as an excellent company in the Busan region.
