On the 30th, Gyeongbok University announced on the 31st that it held the '2023 Regional Innovation Jisan-Gwanhak Performance Forum' at the Udang Art Hall on the Namyangju Campus to share major achievements of the regional innovation project internally and externally and to seek ways for mutual development with the local community.
The performance forum was organized to share last year's regional innovation Jisan-Gwanhak achievements and to seek ways for mutual development with the local community, such as regional industrial development, creation of a new industry ecosystem, and activation of lifelong education, by the project participants including Namyangju City, related organizations and industries, and Gyeongbok University as the project-operating university for continuous collaboration this year.
In his welcoming speech, Jeon Ji-yong, President of Gyeongbok University, said, "Jisan-Gwanhak is a shared collaboration platform to share achievements with the local community and to solve and plan together what to do in the future, how to prepare for the creation of a regional industrial belt according to the Gyeonggi Northern Special Self-Governing Province, and how to implement the local community environment and lifelong education." He added, "I hope that this year we will create more practical plans with the local community so that the university and the local community can develop together and evolve into a genuine Jisan-Gwanhak cluster."
