CareLabs "Government's Plan to Promote Non-Face-to-Face Medical Care, Seeking Comprehensive Cooperation"

CareLabs, a provider of digital healthcare platforms, expressed strong support on the 31st for the government's indication to promote non-face-to-face medical consultations.

President Yoon Seok-yeol pointed out that the current restrictions on non-face-to-face medical consultations are regressive during the seventh public discussion on livelihood with the people held under the theme of "Digital Coexistence, Protection of National Interests" at the Corporate Support Hub in Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and hinted at pushing for amendments to the Medical Service Act.

President Yoon said, "As the pandemic ends, non-face-to-face medical consultations are being significantly restricted," adding, "Although the government is continuing non-face-to-face consultations in the form of pilot projects, inconveniences and regrets remain, such as restrictions on remote drug delivery." He also added, "We will do our best to reflect the issues raised today in the legal amendments."
