Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Kim Yong-ho) announced on the 31st that it held the inauguration and retirement ceremony of the Muan-gun Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation President.
The event was attended by about 200 people, including Kim San, Muan-gun Governor, the county council chairman, provincial and county council members, heads of institutions and social organizations, and volunteer firefighters. The ceremony proceeded in the order of ▲presentation of plaques of appreciation ▲retirement speech ▲appointment certificate presentation ▲handover of the federation flag.
Outgoing Federation President Seong Dong-ho received a plaque of appreciation for his dedicated efforts, demonstrating outstanding leadership and cooperation, and continuously showing interest and volunteer activities for marginalized groups.
Incoming Federation President Cheon Deok-yeon is trusted by the members for his gentle personality and excellent execution skills, and will lead the Muan Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation for the next two years, working to promote a culture of safety in the region.
Newly appointed Cheon Deok-yeon said, “I am honored and feel a heavy responsibility to be inaugurated as the president of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation. I will do my best to ensure the safety of Muan-gun by working together with the members.”
Chief Kim Yong-ho said, “I thank the volunteer firefighters who have supported us as reliable assistants in disaster safety management in Muan-gun. I hope that, led by the new Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation President, you will do your best to protect the lives and property of Muan residents.”
