Plan to Prepare News Service Improvement Measures Within the First Quarter
Naver announced on the 31st that it held the inaugural meeting along with the launch ceremony of the News Innovation Forum at The Westin Chosun Seoul located in Jung-gu, Seoul, and that Choi Seong-jun was elected as the chairman.

The 'News Innovation Forum' will review comprehensive improvement measures to ensure that Naver's news service fulfills its social responsibility and enhances fairness and transparency. A comprehensive plan is expected to be prepared within the first quarter.
Chairman Choi said, "We will examine Naver News from an objective perspective and derive improvement directions through in-depth discussions on areas that need enhancement," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that the News Innovation Forum can fully perform its role with the rich experience and perspectives of experts from various fields."
On this day, the forum members decided to prioritize reviewing the News Partnership Evaluation Committee, Naver News Algorithm Review Committee, policies for responding to fake news and false manipulated information, and Naver News comment policies in future forum meetings. They plan to regularly review various news service-related matters and transparently disclose them to the public.
