Semiconductor equipment company Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 31st that it will participate in the '2024 SEMICON Korea Exhibition' held at COEX in Seoul.
A Hanmi Semiconductor official stated, "Through the SEMICON Korea Exhibition, we plan to promote the world's No. 1 market share equipment '7th Generation New Micro Saw & Vision Placement 6.0 Griffin,' which is scheduled to be released in the first half of this year."
He added, "This year will be the inaugural year when sales of the Dual TC Bonder, an essential process equipment for AI semiconductor high-bandwidth memory (HBM), will make a full contribution," and "SEMICON Korea marks an important moment signaling the start."
In the second half of last year, Hanmi Semiconductor announced an order of 100 billion KRW, the largest in the company's history within a month, from SK Hynix for the Dual TC Bonder. Sales forecasts for this year and next year are set at 450 billion KRW and 650 billion KRW, respectively.
SEMICON Korea, which began in 1987, is a representative exhibition of the domestic semiconductor industry. It is a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the latest semiconductor equipment, materials, and related technologies, along with semiconductor technology symposiums, market trend forums, and purchasing consultations.
