30th Year This Year

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries shared warmth with local neighbors for the 30th consecutive year ahead of Seollal, the nation’s major traditional holiday.

On the 30th, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries held a ‘Seollal Holiday Gift Delivery Ceremony’ at Ulsan Dong-gu Office and donated 42.5 million KRW worth of Onnuri gift certificates to the Dong-gu Office.

The Onnuri gift certificates donated by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries are scheduled to be distributed to 850 underprivileged households in the area.

In addition, from February 1 to 5, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries employees will personally visit 30 local social welfare facilities and 33 senior centers to deliver consolation gifts worth approximately 15.8 million KRW, including fruit and sesame oil.

Since 2021, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has prepared sesame oil, directly pressed by disabled workers at the Dong-gu Disabled Protection Workshop, as Seollal consolation gifts to support the independence of local people with disabilities.
