Contract Signed with Major US Agency 'UTA'
Actor Park Hae-soo's first entry into Hollywood has been confirmed. He is set to appear in the spy thriller series "Butterfly," distributed by Amazon Prime.
On the 30th (local time), U.S. entertainment media outlet Variety reported that Park Hae-soo will join the drama series "Butterfly," starring and produced by Daniel Dae Kim.

The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name and depicts the chase between David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent, and current agent Rebecca. Park Hae-soo will perform his English lines himself in "Butterfly."
Previously, Park Hae-soo gained public recognition through his role as Sang-woo in the globally popular Netflix series "Squid Game." His stable acting skills and commanding screen presence received widespread praise from critics. In 2022, he achieved the milestone of being nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor award at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards. Having appeared in several Netflix series, he is also nicknamed "Netflix's Son."
Park Hae-soo has signed with the major U.S. agency UTA and has embarked on full-scale global activities. In addition, he is currently filming the Netflix series "Bad and Crazy," and the Netflix film "The Great Flood," starring alongside actress Kim Da-mi, is scheduled to be released this year.
