[Winners Club] Koda Equipped with 'TaylorMade Qi10 Max'

Achieves 9th Career Win at Drive On Championship
Drive Shot Distance Reaches 265 Yards with 3 Eagles
Strong Finish with Eagle on 17th Hole and Birdie on 18th Hole on Final Day

Nelly Korda (USA) is a long hitter. She has consistently ranked among the top in the long drive category. She ranked 4th in 2020 (271.96 yards), 7th in 2021 (275.12 yards), and 10th in 2022 (272.28 yards). She often uses a wood for tee shots. If she had only used a driver on holes measuring long drives, her average distance would have been even greater.

On the 28th (local time), Korda won the LPGA Drive On Championship (total prize money $1.75 million) held at Bradenton Country Club (par 71, 6,557 yards) in Florida, USA, after a playoff against Lydia Ko (New Zealand). This was her 9th career victory, coming 1 year and 2 months after the Pelican Championship in November 2022. The winner's prize money was $262,500 (approximately 350 million KRW).

Korda recorded an average drive shot distance of 265 yards in this tournament. She made three eagles over four days, powered by her powerful long drives. Especially on the 17th hole (par 5), she made two eagles and two birdies. She reduced her score by 6 strokes on this hole alone, laying the foundation for a wire-to-wire victory. After struggling on 16 holes on the final day, losing 5 strokes, she dramatically forced a playoff with an eagle on the 17th hole and a birdie on the 18th hole (par 4).

Korda used the TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver at the Drive On Championship. It has a loft of 10.5 degrees. This driver boasts the highest moment of inertia (MOI) of 10K in TaylorMade history. TaylorMade upgraded its forgiveness with advanced lightweight materials such as the Infinity Carbon Crown, oversized head design, carbon face technology, and a torque-control shaft. TaylorMade explained, "Korda created a flatter trajectory compared to before. Carry increased, and roll also increased."
