[Tomorrow's Weather] Cloudy Then Rain in Jeju and Jeonnam... Fine Dust 'Bad'

Tomorrow (the 30th), Tuesday, the sky across the country will gradually become cloudy from the afternoon, with rain starting in Jeju and expanding to Jeonnam by night.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 29th, the minimum temperature tomorrow morning is expected to be between -9 and 1 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature during the day is expected to be between 5 and 11 degrees Celsius.

In particular, in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon and the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, where a cold wave advisory is in effect, temperatures will drop to around -10 degrees Celsius, making it very cold. The wind chill temperature will be lower than the actual temperature, with some places falling below -10 degrees Celsius.

In Jeju, rain will begin between 3 and 6 PM and will spread to the Jeonnam area by night. On Wednesday, the 31st, it will expand to the southern part of Gyeonggi Province. Most rain will stop during the day on the 31st, but some areas in the southern regions and Jeju may experience rain until night.

Expected precipitation tomorrow is 5 to 10 mm in Jeju and less than 5 mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam.

A dry weather advisory is in effect for the east coast and eastern Gyeongnam region. Winds will be somewhat strong, which can cause small sparks to grow into large fires. Caution is advised regarding fire hazards.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongseo region of Gangwon, Chungcheong, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk. Other regions are expected to have 'moderate' levels.
