Jeong Jaeseong, Gwangju Buk-gu Council Member, Proposes Ordinance to Support Social Welfare Council

Jeong Jaeseong, a member of the Buk-gu District Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, proposed the 'Ordinance on Support for the Social Welfare Council.'

The ordinance stipulates ▲ the responsibility of the district mayor regarding support for the Social Welfare Council ▲ support for social welfare surveys and the discovery of marginalized groups ▲ provision of necessary funds for the council's projects.

Councilor Jeong stated, "This ordinance was proposed to establish an institutional foundation for supporting the Social Welfare Council so that it can efficiently carry out community welfare projects," and added, "We expect the community welfare system to become more solid and the quality of social welfare services to improve."
