Continuing Relay Promotion to Prevent Apartment Fires and Spread Safety Culture...
On the 29th, the Uiryeong Office of Education in Gyeongnam participated in the 'Safety Talk with Residents' campaign, holding placards with evacuation action guidelines for apartment residents.
The 'Safety Talk with Residents' campaign was planned to prevent similar incidents following the continuous occurrence of disasters in multi-family housing, such as apartment fires recently in Dobong-gu, Seoul, and Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do.

This campaign is conducted by sending safety information, including evacuation action guidelines in case of apartment fires, to acquaintances via KakaoTalk.
The 'Safety Talk' includes an infographic that easily explains evacuation action guidelines during apartment fires, and a link to the 'Experience Fire Safety in Our Apartment' website, where users can search for their apartment name to check information on installed evacuation equipment and firefighting facilities, as well as videos demonstrating how to use the firefighting equipment.
Superintendent Choi Misook said, "Through this Safety Talk campaign, I hope that all residents and local students will accurately learn the evacuation action guidelines during fires to prevent casualties, and we will do our best to spread a culture of safety."
