Chosun University Opens Online Webpage Exhibiting Running Connector Achievements

According to Chosun University on the 29th, the Center for Teaching and Learning Support successfully concluded the 2023 Learning Connector Program for realizing glocal values and has opened a webpage to share the program outcomes.

The Learning Connector Program was established as part of the University Innovation Support Project. Student research teams composed of outstanding students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher conducted projects based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identifying problems and creatively proposing solutions under the theme "Creating a Sustainable University and Community."

In the first semester of the 2023 academic year, to create a sustainable university, the teams proposed various ideas to solve campus issues, such as improving the school bus environment by creating guide lines and suggesting improvements for campus cafeterias.

In the second semester, to create a sustainable community, the teams went beyond simple idea proposals and produced prototype-level results, including "Developing an underwater trash bin to improve the water quality of Gwangjucheon" and "Making pet mats by upcycling phone cases."

To build an eco-friendly campus, instead of exhibiting printed materials that generate a large amount of waste, the research teams created their own webpage to showcase their results online.

Students participating in the Learning Connector program were responsible for creating the webpage, and the program plans to continuously archive the Learning Connector outcomes through this webpage.

The Chosun University Center for Teaching and Learning Support plans to expand this into a living lab-style program involving internal and external institutions and local residents in the 2024 academic year, operating under the name "Living Cube."
