Handonghun: "Democratic Party Continues Conspiracy Business by Summoning Police to National Assembly"

Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, criticized on the 29th, saying, "The Democratic Party of Korea is still calling the police to the National Assembly and continuing to trade in conspiracy theories."

On the morning of the same day, Chairman Han met with reporters on his way to the People Power Party headquarters in Yeouido and, regarding the assault on party member Bae Hyun-jin, said, "I said I would not worry the public with vague speculation and anger," but added, "The Democratic Party is continuing acts to gain political benefits by trading in conspiracy theories."

He then pointed out, "It seems the Democratic Party wants to continue trading in conspiracy theories, but gaining political benefits in this way causes a lot of concern to the public."

Chairman Han emphasized, "The public will evaluate which is the proper politician regarding the attitudes of the People Power Party and the Democratic Party toward terrorism, and the roles that political parties and politics should play."

The Democratic Party is urging the establishment of a special countermeasure committee at the National Assembly level following the assaults on party leader Lee Jae-myung and member Bae Hyun-jin.
