Koreans' Love for Luxury Cars... "Korea, 5th Largest Bentley Market"

Bentley set a record for the highest sales in its history in Korea for the third consecutive year last year. In terms of sales volume, Korea maintained its position as the largest market in the Asia-Pacific region and the 5th largest global market for the second consecutive year.

On the 29th, Bentley Motors announced that it sold 810 units in Korea last year, breaking its highest sales record for the third consecutive year. Sales by model were 349 units of the Flying Spur, 203 units of the Bentayga, and 258 units of the Continental GT.

Globally, Bentley delivered 13,560 vehicles last year, marking the third highest volume ever. Among these, bespoke custom-ordered vehicles accounted for about three-quarters of deliveries. Bentley vehicles produced and sold by Mulliner, the dedicated bespoke division, increased by 43% compared to the previous year.

The most popular Bentley model in the global market was the luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Bentayga. The Bentayga accounted for 44% of Bentley’s global sales last year.

By region, the Asia-Pacific area, which includes Korea, showed a high growth rate. Sales in the Asia-Pacific region increased by 4% year-on-year to 2,121 units last year. Among them, Bentley Motors Korea sold 810 units, nearly 40%, surpassing the Japanese market (719 units).

Bentley Motors Korea opened its flagship showroom, 'Bentley Cube,' last year and carried out various marketing activities, including the launch of the Korea Limited Edition model. Christian Schlick, Managing Director of Bentley Motors Korea, said, "Bentley was able to maintain solid performance in the Korean market over the past year thanks to the support of our customers," adding, "It is also meaningful that we achieved qualitative improvements in both products and services together with our official dealer, Bentley Seoul."
