According to Liberty Times and others on the 28th, Wang Meihua, Taiwan's Minister of Economic Affairs, visited the Taiwan Power Company (TPC) Taichung Power Plant and the CPC Corporation Taiwan (CPC) Taichung Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant on the 5th. During inspections of the operation of key infrastructure, factories, and various information security measures, she ordered enhanced access control and security.

In particular, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) jamming devices, known as jamming drone guns, will be prioritized for deployment at TPC and CPC related facilities. Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs plans to deploy the jamming drone guns in the first phase and, in the second phase, establish a passive response system for joint defense capable of tracking the distance and trajectory of unidentified flying objects.
