Hampyeong-gun 'Youth Policy Council' Holds Regular Meeting... Enhancing Youth Rights

"Expectations for Discovering Youth Policies and Activating Communication with Youth"

Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it held the 'Youth Policy Council Regular Meeting' on the 25th to discover policies necessary for enhancing youth rights and to listen to the voices of young people.

According to the county on the 26th, the council is composed of 28 youths aged 19 to 49 from Hampyeong-gun and operates through quarterly regular meetings and occasional gatherings.

At the regular meeting, Kim Seung-sun was elected as the chairperson to lead the 3rd term, with Kim Dam as the vice-chairperson, along with four representatives from the job, education, welfare, and culture divisions.

The agenda items discovered by each division during the meeting will be concretized into project plans through occasional discussions and continuous practical consultations, thereby initiating the establishment and implementation of various policies for local youth.

Kim Jong-hwan, Director of the Population and Economy Division, said, "The role of the Youth Policy Council members is very important in creating youth policies," adding, "We will actively support the reflection of youth opinions in policy work and create effective policies that are truly necessary for young people."
