Launch of 'Scholarship Committee' for Talent Development in Osan City

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province recently held the inaugural general meeting of the 'Osan City Scholarship Committee' to promote educational development and scholarship culture in Osan City, and announced on the 25th that it has begun full-scale activities.

The Osan City Scholarship Committee is a private organization established with the purpose of nurturing future talents through education, practicing social responsibility and a sense of contribution to the local community, and creating social value through education. It currently consists of 11 members.

The committee plans to take the lead in securing scholarship funds and revitalizing scholarship culture through cooperation with various sectors including companies, organizations, and individuals for the continuous operation of Osan City's educational development and scholarship system.

Lee Gye-wang, chairman of the Osan City Scholarship Committee, stated, "We will help Osan's outstanding talents to realize their dreams and strive to contribute to the creation of the Osan City Hall of Fame Special Scholarship Fund through the committee's support." Lee Kwon-jae, mayor of Osan City, said, "The city will support Osan students to nurture bigger dreams and grow into future talents."
