Up to 1 Million Won Support for Digital Device Purchase Costs
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do is recruiting participants on a first-come, first-served basis for the ‘Digital Small Business Owner 10,000 Training Project.’
According to the county on the 24th, the ‘Digital Small Business Owner 10,000 Training Project’ is a program that supports small business owners who have introduced smart technologies such as smart ordering (order), digital menu boards (menu board), waiting boards, unmanned terminals (kiosks), and vending machines with up to 1 million KRW.
As the long-lasting COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation such as online ordering, the county is conducting the project to support smart technology and operational training to enhance the competitiveness of local small business owners.
The support target is small business owners who fall under the ‘Small Business Protection and Support Act,’ who are currently operating normally in Jindo-gun as of the application date and have annual sales of 1 billion KRW or less.
If it is difficult to choose the digital technology to be introduced, consultation is available through the call center operated by the Jeollanam-do Small Business Association.
The support fund is paid after the selected small business owner pre-spends the entire project cost and submits supporting documents, which are then verified on-site by the county.
Applications for participation in the project can be submitted by visiting the Economic Energy Division of Jindo County Office with the required documents such as business registration certificate and sales proof by the 29th of next month.
However, since the project is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, it may close early. For detailed inquiries, contact the Regional Economy Team of the Economic Energy Division at Jindo County Office.
An official from the Economic Energy Division of Jindo-gun said, “We hope that the support from the Digital Small Business Owner 10,000 Training Project will help local small business owners strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to increasing sales,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to ensure the management stability and self-reliance foundation of small business owners.”
