2000 Units Haemoro Town Planned in Old Downtown

HJ Heavy Industries' construction division announced on the 23rd that it has begun creating a brand town by selling the Haemoro apartment complex, a housing brand, centered around Seodaesin-dong in the old downtown area of Busan.
In Seodaesin District 5, the 733-unit "Daesin Haemoro Central" was completed and occupied in 2022, and the 542-unit Seodaesin District 4, which is about to be constructed, is also scheduled for sale this year. This means that a total of 1,275 Haemoro units will be established in Busan's old downtown area.
Industry experts analyze that, compared to the rapidly emerging residential areas in East Busan and Gangseo districts, the old downtown area, which has been relatively neglected, will see the formation of a premium brand residential town. This is expected to revitalize the apartment sales market in the old downtown area, where new large complexes have been lacking.
On the 13th, HJ Heavy Industries was selected as the construction company for the Garohousing Maintenance Projects in Dangni District 1 and Goejeong District 2 in Saha-gu, Busan, succeeding in securing its first order in the maintenance project sector this year.
Dangni District 1, located in Dangni-dong, Saha-gu, will feature three apartment buildings with 136 units, ranging from two basement floors to 18 floors above ground, on a site area of 6,238㎡, along with auxiliary facilities. The construction period is 27 months. Goejeong District 2, located in Goejeong-dong, Saha-gu, will have three apartment buildings with 225 units, ranging from two basement floors to 27 floors above ground, on a 9,427㎡ site, including auxiliary facilities. The construction period is 33 months.
In this area, Dangni District 2 and Goejeong District 3 are also promoting Garohousing Maintenance Projects. If HJ Heavy Industries secures the construction rights for these as well, a complex with over 800 units is expected to be developed. In that case, a Haemoro brand town with over 2,000 units covering the old downtown area is anticipated.
Following the redevelopment projects of Seodaesin Districts 4 and 5 and additional orders in the western Busan area, HJ Heavy Industries will be able to accelerate the creation of a large-scale Haemoro brand town in the old downtown area of Busan. HJ Heavy Industries has also consecutively secured eight Garohousing Maintenance Projects in Wonjong and Ojeong-dong areas of Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, planning a Haemoro brand town of about 1,500 units in that area as well.
