Galaxy Studio X CatchTable Open Special Booth
Korean Orders to Staff... Real-Time Interpretation with Galaxy AI
Samsung Electronics is holding a unique event with CatchTable under the concept of a global gourmet journey to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. Visitors can try out the AI platform Galaxy AI firsthand at restaurants modeled exactly after overseas locations.
According to industry sources on the 23rd, mobile restaurant reservation service CatchTable is collaborating with the Galaxy Studio, a Galaxy S24 experience space, to run a special booth. The event period lasts until the 4th of next month.
The restaurants hosting the special booths are △ Saladang Embassy △ Saladang Temple △ Changchang. Saladang Embassy, located in Gyeongridan-gil, offers French fine dining and recreates the French Embassy in Thailand. At Saladang Temple, visitors can feel as if they have arrived at a Thai temple. Saladang Temple, located in Seongsu, offers East-West fusion dining. Changchang, located in Jongno, features a vibrant Hong Kong back alley concept where various Chinese dishes can be enjoyed.
If you have chosen a country among France, Thailand, and Hong Kong for your gourmet journey, you can make a reservation through CatchTable and then visit. When visiting the restaurant, a foreign server will take your order. Even if you do not speak the language, there is no need to worry. You can freely communicate using Galaxy AI’s 'real-time translation' feature.
The unique photo zones set up inside the restaurants further enhance the feeling of being on location. You can take photos at the photo zone and edit them using Galaxy AI. You can directly experience 'generative editing,' which restores tilted photos or fills in parts of the background that are cut off.
Galaxy AI is an AI platform developed by Samsung Electronics. It comes pre-installed on the recently unveiled Galaxy S24 series. Its main features include 'real-time translation,' which provides two-way interpretation during calls between users speaking different languages. It also offers the 'Circle to Search' feature that allows quick searches by drawing a circle on internet screens, as well as providing speaker-specific transcripts for voice recordings.
The pre-order period for the Galaxy S24 series equipped with Galaxy AI runs until the 25th of this month. The official release date is January 31.
