David Beckham, the football star and icon from the UK, is coming to Korea.
Adidas Korea will hold 'David Beckham in Seoul' along with the 'Predator 30th Anniversary Exhibition' at the Adidas Brand Flagship Seoul located in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 29th at 1:30 PM. The fan meeting venue will feature an exhibition space where visitors can see the past and present of Adidas's iconic football boots, the 'Predator.' David Beckham will participate in a talk session with 2002 World Cup legends Kim Nam-il and Choi Jin-cheol, sharing stories and interacting with fans.
Previously, Beckham visited Korea in 2019 to celebrate Adidas's 70th anniversary and Hangul Day. At that time, Adidas released a limited edition 'Ultraboost David Beckham' called 'DB99,' which Beckham personally designed. The 'Ultraboost David Beckham' DB99 was launched to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Beckham's historic treble (three major trophies) achievement in 1999, with the DB99 letters symbolizing Beckham engraved on the heel of the shoe.
Beckham gained popularity for his outstanding football skills and sculpted looks. He played for Manchester United and, from the late 2000s, moved from Europe to the United States, leading the MLS boom in the US. Currently, he serves as co-owner and chairman of Inter Miami. He is married to Victoria Beckham, a member of the world-famous girl group Spice Girls, and they have three sons and one daughter.
