[Special Stock] Kosen, XR-B Vanadium Battery 'World's Highest Output' Approved... Stake Spotlighted↑

Kosen is showing strong performance. The company's stake has gained attention following news that its investor's vanadium battery has confirmed the world's highest output performance.

As of 9:29 AM on the 22nd, Kosen is trading at 5,010 KRW, up 15.17% from the previous day.

According to a media report on the 19th, XR-B's self-developed vanadium battery has been confirmed to have more than three times the output performance compared to existing vanadium batteries.

This is based on performance tests conducted by the accredited institution Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR), and arithmetically, it corresponds to more than six times the output of a typical lithium-ion battery.

Vanadium batteries are known as "next-generation batteries" because their output is nearly twice that of lithium-ion batteries and they are considered safe from explosion and fire risks.

According to the company, full-scale commercialization and global market capture are planned to begin next year, with plans to establish joint ventures (JVC) with leading overseas energy companies for global business expansion.

Meanwhile, Kosen, an investor in XR-B, increased its stake on the 18th, securing a total of 34.2%, up 5.63% from the previous 28.57%.

Kosen, responsible for production, is exploring ways to advance the project, including requesting a 10,000-pyeong site in the Saemangeum secondary battery specialized complex for the construction of a new production plant.
