Woman Visits Home While Wife Is Out... Assault Occurs After Suspecting Affair
A woman who visited a married man's house and was having a private conversation with him was caught hiding in the master bedroom closet when the man's wife returned home. When the wife suspected the two of having an affair, the woman denied the relationship, saying, "We are not like that," but was prosecuted for causing injury after a physical altercation.

On the 22nd, Judge Song Ho-cheol of the Busan District Court Criminal Division 3 sentenced Ms. A, who was prosecuted for injury, to a fine of 300,000 won. Judge Song stated, "Ms. A is a first-time offender, and the victim's injuries are relatively minor," adding, "The circumstances leading to Ms. A's offense include some mitigating factors favorable to her, while the fact that Ms. A has not been forgiven was considered an unfavorable factor."
Earlier, around 5:20 p.m. last January, Ms. A visited the home of Mr. B, a married man, and was talking with him when Mr. B's wife, Ms. C, returned home, prompting Ms. A to hide in the master bedroom closet. As Ms. A was coming out of the closet, Ms. C suspected an affair between the two and blocked Ms. A from leaving the house. In response, Ms. A punched Ms. C's shoulder once and pushed her body once with both hands. She also swung a book, causing bruising on Ms. C's left hand. Due to the assault, Ms. C was diagnosed with injuries requiring two weeks of treatment.
Ms. A claimed, "I did not assault Ms. C or cause her injury," but the court rejected this, stating, "There are no contradictions in Ms. C's testimony, and the injury report issued by the hospital supports its credibility."
